What is Supreme New York?

Supreme was founded in New York by a man that goes by name of James Jebbia. The company started off as a small store storefront in 1994. The brand is famous for being aligned with skateboarders to this day, however, many people of different interests love the brand as it has grown.

Today the brand has grown to incredible numbers due to its popularity in clothing designs and extremely recognizable branding. There are currently 15 stores across the world ranging from the United States to Europe as well as in Japan! The brand is continuing to grow heavily in Asian markets with its next storefront in Korea, although, the brand is having some trademark issues currently so there has been a delay with the launch there!

Not only are these storefronts extremely busy due to local shoppers and tourists visiting the in-person stores, but the brand also has a huge online presence that generates a lot of its revenue. In 2022, the brand made over 500 million dollars! This is a very impressive figure considering the brand releases items in cycles called seasons!

How do Supreme seasons work?

Supreme has two seasons a year which are the "Spring/Summer" and the "Fall/Winter" seasons. These seasons are the only periods of time when you are able to buy items. Each season lasts roughly 18 weeks although some seasons are a bit longer or shorter. This means that for roughly 16 weeks or 1/3 of the year, they generate no revenue. During this time, they are planning out collaborations with big brands such as Nike, Adidas, The North Face, Rimowa, and many more to give the brand's fans what they so desperately want!

When does Supreme release its items?

Typically during the season, the drop list will be released around Monday of every week and then be confirmed by Wednesday. During this time, you will be able to find out images and styles that are releasing but typically the price isn't confirmed until the drop happens. Supreme releases every Thursday at 11 am EST within the United States but the times are also different for other regions. Go for example, if you are in Europe then the release will be at 11 am local time for London.

The same goes for in-store releases. The in-store releases their items at the same time their online store does. So you if live near a Supreme store then expect to find they open at 11 am local time!

When does the season start this year?

The Spring/Summer 2023 Supreme season officially starts on February 16th, 2023 for both Europe and the United States while Japan starts on February 18th, 2023! There are other very important dates you should also be aware of! See the list below!
